"Voicelip" is an Internet-based service that provides you ("You" or "User") access to a website, mobile application, audiobooks, recordings, and other literary content from Voicelip on your mobile phone or tablet, or on another device ("Service") in accordance with the Terms of Use, this Privacy Policy, and any additional terms that may govern your use of the content provided on the platform ("Terms"). The Service is provided by "Voicelip" LLC, UIC 206319505 (hereinafter referred to as "Voicelip" or "we").

1.2.

This Privacy Policy explains Voicelip's standard practices regarding the collection, storage, use, and disclosure of certain information, including your personal data, when providing the Service to you. This Privacy Policy also applies to individuals who visit our website or download and use our application. It also serves to inform you about how we process your personal data, ensuring that we handle it with due care and in accordance with applicable data protection laws when using the Service.

1.3.

You can always feel secure when sharing your personal data with Voicelip. Voicelip has taken the necessary technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data, particularly from unauthorized access or disclosure, use, modification, destruction, or loss. If you have concerns regarding the content of this Privacy Policy, you can always refrain from using the Service.

2. DATA CONTROLLER

2.1.

"Voicelip" LLC is the data controller responsible for processing your personal data, carried out by the application of the same name. You can contact the company regarding issues such as integrity and privacy. You can find our contact information in section 13.

3. WHEN AND WHERE DOES "Voicelip" COLLECT PERSONAL DATA?

3.1.

"Voicelip" collects personal data when:

You create an account on "Voicelip" and/or use the Service;

You order an additional service or product offered by "Voicelip";

You install and/or use an application included in the Service, with or without a corresponding subscription plan;

You visit the website;

You register as a subscriber to the "Voicelip" newsletter;

You report errors, unlawful, or otherwise inappropriate materials, or contact Voicelip's customer service department for other reasons;

You connect the Service to your Facebook account or another similar service provided by a third party, such as to facilitate your access to the Service, in which case we receive data from that third-party service;

You complete a survey, including but not limited to, customer satisfaction surveys or marketing studies, or respond to a message sent by "Voicelip", or there is another need to manage the relationship between you and "Voicelip".

3.2.

"Voicelip" also collects information through our cookies or third-party cookies and other similar tracking means (including but not limited to beacons, tags, and pixels) that can track your activities and choices, i.e. when you download our application, use the Service, or visit our website. This is, for example, to facilitate logging in, remember your preferred settings, send you tailored marketing messages, and measure the success of advertising. 4. WHAT PERSONAL DATA DOES "Voicelip" COLLECT?

4.1.

When you create a profile on "Voicelip" or contact "Voicelip" customer service, "Voicelip" collects personal data about you. The main user data collected by "Voicelip" includes your contact details, such as your name and/or username, email address and/or phone number, as well as your payment details if you use a paid subscription, such as the type and validity of your credit card. "Voicelip" may also collect data about your date of birth, gender, and additional contact details, such as your address. "Voicelip" may also collect personal information provided by you about your family members (including the names of your family members, birth dates, and their interests). If you choose to provide such personal data, you are responsible for having the right to do so with their consent, and you must also inform them about the processing we perform.

4.2.

When you use the Service or additional services and products of "Voicelip", as well as when you visit the website and application of "Voicelip", it is possible that "Voicelip" also collects usage data (such as title choices and search requests), viewing data (such as content being viewed), and technical data (such as unique platform identifications, phone and platform versions, device IP address, "Voicelip" application version, language settings, URL information, password (encrypted), cookies, and browser type). If, during your registration as a "Voicelip" customer, you have requested invoice issuance, it may be necessary for "Voicelip" to collect and process some of the data you provide to "Voicelip"'s payment service provider to facilitate this billing.

4.3.

If you choose to connect the Service to Facebook or another similar service provided by a third party that independently administers personal data, "Voicelip" may collect and manage personal data that you have allowed Facebook or the relevant third party to share with "Voicelip". "Voicelip" encourages you to familiarize yourself with the privacy practices of these third parties.

4.4.

Additionally, "Voicelip" may also collect and process personal data that you provide in public forums on the "Voicelip" website or directly to "Voicelip" when using the "Voicelip" website, "Voicelip" sites on third-party platforms, such as app stores, social media sites, or when you link your user profile to a third-party site or platform using your personal account.

4.5.

"Voicelip" may also collect and process certain personal data regarding whether you have the right to use the relevant Service and your chosen payment method. Since "Voicelip" collaborates with third-party payment service providers that operate independently with systems separate from "Voicelip", "Voicelip" will not store complete payment data, such as full credit card numbers. "Voicelip" encourages you to familiarize yourself with the privacy practices of these third-party payment service providers.

5. FOR HOW LONG ARE DATA STORED?

5.1.

"Voicelip" will store your personal data only for such a period as is necessary considering the purposes of the relevant processing activity.

5.2.

This means that personal data collected and processed for marketing purposes will be stored as long as you are a Subscriber and twelve (12) months after your subscription ends, unless you have voluntarily consented to "Voicelip" continuing to process this data.

5.3.

To fulfill our contractual obligations, monitor and document the use of Gift Cards and Free Trials, as well as other additional services, we will store the personal data you provided during your registration (such as your name and/or username, email address and/or phone number, and payment information) for as long as you are a Subscriber, user of a Gift Card, or Free Trial and for a period of twenty-four (24) months after the end of your subscription, use of a Gift Card, or Free Trial – whichever comes last.

5.4.

We will store your personal information for your Voicelip audio/eBook library for as long as you are a Subscriber and for a period of twenty-four (24) months thereafter, to facilitate improving your experience if you decide to return as a Subscriber within that period.

5.5.

When you contact "Voicelip" for support or other purposes, we will retain your personal data for twenty-four (24) months after resolving your last support request (e.g., questions and requests).

5.6.

Your personal data is processed for analytical purposes during your subscription period and for twenty-four (24) months thereafter.

5.7.

"Voicelip" may store personal data for longer periods than those mentioned above when required by applicable law or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend a specific right in legal proceedings.

6. WHERE ARE PERSONAL DATA STORED?

6.1.

Your personal data is stored on Digital Ocean servers (https://www.digitalocean.com), and Voicelip servers are hosted on Amazon Web Services (https://www.heroku.com). For international transfers, "Voicelip" applies the security measures described below in section 10.5.

7. WHY DOES "Voicelip" PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

7.1.

"Voicelip" processes your personal data for various purposes. Specifically, it processes your personal data to manage customer relationships with you, as well as to fulfill its legal obligations. Your personal data may also be processed for market and customer analysis, market research, statistical analysis, business activity monitoring, and for business and methodological development of "Voicelip", to develop and personalize the Service and its features.

7.2.

"Voicelip" also processes your personal data to provide better and more personalized offers and services. "Voicelip" does this to reduce the risk of sending you irrelevant advertising or other irrelevant marketing material. Personal data may, for example, be processed, linked, segmented, and analyzed to provide targeted marketing – for example, via email, push notifications in the application, and ads on third-party channels – to provide information, offers, or recommendations regarding products and services offered by "Voicelip" or its partners that are tailored to your preferences, behavior, needs, or lifestyle. They may also be used as a basis for targeted marketing to audiences similar to existing "Voicelip" users. This may include processing personal data to create a custom audience on third-party platforms, such as Facebook and Google. "Voicelip" may also analyze and combine the information it has access to through the Service from your online visits or other available records (e.g., from Facebook or other similar social media providers) for the purposes outlined in this section.

7.3.

In addition to the above, "Voicelip" processes your personal data to prevent, detect, and investigate possible prohibited or illegal activities, including fraud, and to enforce our Terms of Use (e.g., to determine whether you are entitled to a Free Trial or other offer or marketing campaign, as applicable).

8. WHAT IS THE LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING DATA?

8.1.

Most of the personal data processed by "Voicelip" about you is necessary for the performance of "Voicelip"'s obligations under the Terms, i.e., for "Voicelip" to provide and manage the Service and its functionalities. This is also the case when "Voicelip" processes, among other things, your contact details, such as your email address or phone number, as well as information from the payment service provider.

8.2.

Some of the personal data processed by "Voicelip" is processed based on a balance of interests, i.e., the legitimate interest of "Voicelip" in processing the data takes precedence over any potential impact and risk the processing may have on you. This is the case when "Voicelip" processes your personal data for support purposes (e.g., general support requests) or certain marketing purposes other than direct marketing, and when we store your audio/eBook library information in "Voicelip" (including other literary content) after your subscription expires.

8.3.

Additionally, some data is processed based on your consent. This is the case with the processing of data to which "Voicelip" has access through your Facebook account, as well as for the purposes of direct marketing of goods and services offered by "Voicelip" or "Voicelip" partners. If you provide personal data of other individuals, such as your family members, you are responsible for obtaining their consent for the processing of their personal data.

8.4.

To the extent that the only legal basis for processing the data is given consent, providing such consent is voluntary, and you can withdraw your consent in whole or in part at any time.

9. DATA SECURITY AND INTEGRITY

9.1.

The security, integrity, and confidentiality of your personal data are important to us. We have implemented technical, administrative, and physical security measures designed to protect your personal data, particularly against unauthorized access or disclosure, use, modification, destruction, and loss. We periodically review our security procedures to assess the need for additional measures or make technical improvements to existing procedures. Please note that despite our best efforts, few security measures are completely impenetrable, so we ask that you notify us immediately of any suspicious activity you notice while using the Service.

10. TO WHOM DOES "Voicelip" DISCLOSE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

10.1.

"Voicelip" may disclose your personal data to its affiliates, i.e., companies within the "Voicelip" group, to business partners, suppliers, and other third parties to fulfill the agreement with you or to fulfill agreements with "Voicelip"'s suppliers and business partners, or otherwise in accordance with the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy. This may be the case when we provide information, for example, to your bank to demonstrate compliance with requirements and clarify misunderstandings, etc.

10.2.

"Voicelip" may also disclose your personal data to third parties to send you tailored ads and marketing messages, avoid sending irrelevant ads or other irrelevant marketing messages, measure the success and reach of our digital marketing, and for other promotional purposes. This is the case when "Voicelip" uses remarketing and impression functions, interest and demographic reports in Google Analytics, when uploading custom audiences to, for example, Facebook and Google, and when informing our business partners, such as Facebook and Google, that a specific marketing measure has generated a new specific customer or a certain number of new customers, as applicable.

10.3.

"Voicelip" may also disclose personal data to companies processing personal data on our behalf, such as our IT systems providers, customer service companies, and related entities. If such companies processing personal data on behalf of "Voicelip" are provided with personal data, "Voicelip" enters into data processing agreements with them to ensure a high level of security for your personal data.

10.4.

Personal data may also be disclosed if necessary to comply with legal requirements or requests from competent authorities or agencies, to protect the legitimate interests of "Voicelip", or to detect, prevent, or draw attention to potential fraud and other security or technical issues.

10.5.

As a company conducting international operations, we may store your personal data in the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA) or elsewhere. When your personal data is transferred between different countries, the transfer is made to the categories of recipients described above for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. 11. LINKS TO EXTERNAL WEBSITES

11.1.

The data provided by "Voicelip" may contain links to websites operated or owned by parties other than "Voicelip". "Voicelip" is not responsible for the processing of personal data by such websites. "Voicelip" encourages you to familiarize yourself with the privacy practices of the data controllers of the respective website.

12. CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

12.1.

This Privacy Policy is subject to periodic review. If "Voicelip" makes significant changes to the Privacy Policy, "Voicelip" will notify you by email, SMS, or through the Service before the changes take effect. The Privacy Policy is also published on the "Voicelip" website. When your consent is required for a change, "Voicelip" will request this new consent from you. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy regularly to stay informed about our data processing practices.

13. YOUR RIGHTS UNDER EU/EEA LAW

13.1.

Data Deletion Request
Users have the right to request the deletion of their Personal Data at any time. To do so, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your account at https://voicelip.com/login.
2. Navigate to the top-right menu and select "Delete Account."
3. Your associated data will be permanently deleted within 3 days.

This data deletion policy applies to all users, regardless of region, who access our app.

If you are located in the EU/EEA or if your personal data is otherwise processed by a "Voicelip" organization within the EU/EEA, you have the following rights (in addition to withdrawing your consent):

Right of access: You have the right to ask whether we hold personal data about you and, if so, to request information about what personal data we hold about you, why and how we process it.

Right to rectification: We are required to correct inaccurate personal data or complete incomplete personal data upon request.

Right to erasure (right to be forgotten): Under certain circumstances, we are required to erase your personal data at your request.

Right to object: In some cases, you may object to our use of your personal data. We may then be required to stop using the personal data. For example, this may apply to the use of personal data for marketing and profiling purposes.

Please note that some of the above rights may only be exercised in certain situations, e.g., the right to data portability, which applies only when data processing is based on an agreement or consent, as well as when processing is carried out in an automated manner, and the right to erasure, which applies only when data is processed based on a balance of interests or consent. 13.3.

If you do not want "Voicelip" to process your personal data for direct marketing purposes, you can send a written notification to "Voicelip". In addition to this, as well as in every newsletter sent to you, you will be informed that you can opt out of receiving new newsletters. Regarding push notifications, you can (on most mobile and tablet devices) opt out of receiving such notifications by going to "Settings" on your device and clicking on "Notifications", then changing these settings for some or all of the applications on your device. As for cookies, your opt-out options are described in Voicelip's cookie policy.

13.4.

You also have the right to file a complaint with a competent authority if you believe that your personal data is being processed in violation of applicable data protection laws. If you are a resident, if your workplace is in, or if the alleged data protection violation occurred in Bulgaria, you can file a complaint with the Commission for Personal Data Protection.
